趣谈“英语教师最洋气”之深思

曰:英语教师!看到这个答案,我想所有的英语教师都会在心里偷偷地乐了。但是抿嘴一笑之余,我陷入了深思: 为什么英语教师最洋气?

曰:因为我们的英语学科本身就具有培养综合人文素养的功能。在大学里,我们英语教师受到过精读教师,泛读教师,文学教师与戏曲教师的熏陶,阅读的是跨文化意识的“洋气味”很浓的文本资料,在培养我们的语言技能同时,更使人的综合人文素养彰显得淋漓尽致。

课改专家鲁子问教授主张阅读时要建构阅读认知图式。这个概念对于我们教师,尤其是乡村教师是个全新的概念。我查了很多相关的资料,方才摸清它的脉络。现简述如下:在国内外相关研究来看,康德是第一个把“图式”这个词用于教育文献中的,他还发展了图式理论用来解释背景知识对阅读的作用。现在,图式理论之所以被广泛地作为阅读研究中重要的因素,是基于这样的假设:读者先前所拥有的知识会直接影响新的学习和认知。鲁子问教授说:“一般意义上,图式是人脑中有组织的知识结构,它涉及人对某一范畴的事物的典型特征及关系的抽象,是一种包含了客观环境和事件的一般信息的有组织的知识结构”。在阅读教学意义上,图式指的是人的大脑中已经由于过去的经验而形成的对于某一类知识和能力的聚集体,在新的阅读认知活动中被激活,以帮助阅读者阅读理解新的现象,建构新的图式,从而理解语篇本身,改变以往“见木不见林”的传统的阅读方法,把以“字、词、句”为中心转移到“语篇”为中心上来,从而树立以语篇内容及修辞结构为重点培养学生综合阅读理解能力的“大阅读教学”观念。谈及阅读,我又想起唐代大诗人杜甫的名句:“读书破万卷,下笔如有神”。意为:读书读得多了,脑子里积累的东西也就多了,写起文章来,自然得心应手,如神来之笔。“得阅读者得天下”这句话在这里得到了诠释。换个思维来思考:为什么“读书破万卷”这句名言自己没有千古流芳?为什么“下笔如有神”这句名句没有千古长青?因为他们是一个不可分割的整体。它的含义是不是隐含着“读与写”两者关系的深层含义呢?他阐明的不正是“读”与“写”能力的要完美结合的吗?如果说阅读是语言的内在形式,是输入,那么书写则是知识的外在形式,是输出。当然如果没有读这个技能,那写的技能的发展将是无本之木。两者是相辅相成,相互促进的。另外,漂亮,美观的书写对学生的内在需求是很重要的,它也会成为诱发学生未来写作能力发展的内在动机,也会无形中渗透人文素养。因此对于学生读写能力的培养,我们要双管齐下。

结合本课内容,以读写能力培养为主线,以过去时为语言支撑,本着“减负”的原则(省级专家王丽珠教授曾说:要注重语境激趣的同时,更要注重“减负”,这将对我们课的设计,尤其是精品课的设计,无疑是课改浪潮中的一句“警世(师)通言”)。我是这样设计的:

【内容简析】本课是关于作者Lucy 用自己的智慧和爱心打动新邻家女孩并最终成为好朋友的故事。故事内容生动有趣,贴近学生生活。我把这节课设置为读写课,采用任务型教学途径,力求通过参与体验,培养学生的语言技能,培养学生的综合人文素养。教学目标和要求: 1.知识目标:

①掌握词汇lonely, fill, basket与neighbour;了解词汇fold与attach。②能正确读清,读准新的单词在句子中的读音。

③掌握单词能够在图片提示整体感知整片文章,并学习和应用一般过去时。

2.能力目标:能够运用一般过去式自由写作自己的身边的事情。

3.情感目标:培养学生养成良好的学习习惯,激发学习英语的兴趣,使学生在生活中敢于开口用英语记述自己的经历,达到学以致用的目的。通过互相讲述各自过去的经历,培养学生对自己朋友的珍视,增进彼此的了解,加深友谊。此环节充分体现了英语的人文性。教学重难点:

1.能够运用一般过去式自由谈论自己的身边的事情。

2.培养学生正确交友方式,培养学生跨文化交际的意识

教学程序:

Step1: 用一个交友的故事导入。

Everyone wants friends.Lucy, too!Let’s see how she makes friends with a girl!

T:Look at the picture 1(教师指令要清楚,到底是哪个女孩): 图片

一、为阅读排除障碍;

二、本着英语教学减负的原则,我用一般现在时提供了真实文本语境,让学生提前感知文本。省级专家王丽珠教授曾评论道:要注重语境激趣的同时,更要注重“减负”。

1.大多数动词的过去式是在动词原形后加上ed构成。这类动词称为规则动词。一般情况下在词尾直接加ed。如:look-looked play―played 2.以e结尾的动词只加d.如:live---lived use—used 3.以辅音字母+y结尾的动词,变y为i,再加ed.如: carry―carried 4.以重读闭音节结尾的动词,如果末尾只有一个辅音字母,要双写最后这个辅音字母,再加ed.如:stop―stopped 5.不规则单词可在不规则动词表找到,如do---did take-took 表逻辑顺序的词汇:

4.写出课本剧剧本Having a good neighbor is lucky.体现主题a near neighbor is better than a distant cousin.【设计意图】这一部分是read for information,学生带着问题仔细阅读短文。一是培养学生阅读中获取信息的能力。二是为了培养学生的归纳能力,从个别到一般的抽象思维能力。在课堂上,教给学生的知识是死的,是有限的,但是能不能让学会找规律,能不能在教师的启发下,让学生有新的发现,这是最根本的。

三、关注每一个学生,注重差异。不放弃一个学生是我永远不变的信念。

四、评价结果将会由英语秘书记录,作为形成性评价的依据。Step4:Post-reading(人文性与工具性并举)

假如你是那个女孩,请给Lucy回封信,据实回信,遇到新的词汇,可以查词典。学习策落采取小组合作的策略。要求:

1.学优生:请用一般过去时来缩写你读过的英汉小故事。

【设计意图】

一、可以让学生在这个环节中,重新感知全文,培养学生整体感知语篇的能力,对课文的拓展应用。有利于培养学生的发散性思维能力。后进生我们教师要善于搭建一个平台即利用信息沟,帮助他们获得自我效能感。由篇-句-词-篇的新的知识图示的建构,更重要的是培养学生跨文化意识的交际能力。在面对外国小朋友时,你会怎么应用什么样的态度去交际。践行培养学生用英语能做事情的能力即践行“can do”理念。真正的课堂教学是为孩子的终身而奠基的,而不是为了做题。Step 5: Homework 整合教材资源,课下让学生提前阅读《金风花仙子》那篇文章,作为课外阅读的拓展。能结合一般过去时与表示逻辑关系词来组织缩写这篇文章。字数限制在70词以内。【设计意图】

我们不仅要建构阅读图式,更要建构写作图式。其异曲同工之处就是:用旧的图式建构新的图示,建构的过程就是读与写完美结合的过程。在专题三中,课改专家鲁子问教授主张阅读时要形成“大阅读教学”的观念。改变以往“见木不见林”的传统的阅读方法,把以“字、词、句”为中心转移到“语篇”为中心上来,从而树立以语篇内容及修辞结构为重点培养学生综合阅读理解能力的“大阅读教学”观念。让“破万卷”的“读”,去造就“笔如有神”的“下”。

最后,还是开篇趣谈来作为结语:既然别人赋予我们这个群体“最洋气”之美称,希望我们这些“最洋气”的教师达人们,用“最洋气”的理念去培育出“最洋气”的学生达人吧!让我们这最具“洋气”的达人秀“秀出”聊城,“秀”出山东,“秀”向世界吧。【英语读写能力对学生语言技能培养的重要性】

一般过去时

1.一般过去时(simple past tense)表示过去某个时间里发生的动作或存在的状态,常和表示过去的时间状语连用,如:yesterday,last night,in 1990,two days ago等。

2.一般过去时也表示过去经常或反复发生的动作,常和often,always等表式频率的时间状语连用。3.过去习惯性、经常性的动作、行为;过去主语所具备的能力和性格。

如:What did you do yesterday? 昨天你干了什么?I met Lin Tao this morning.今天上午我会到了林涛。I was there a moment ago.刚才我在那儿 动词过去式规则变化:

一般过去时并不难,过去动作、状态记心间。动词要用过去式,时间状语句末站。

否定句很简单,didn't 站在动原前,其它部分不要变。一般疑问句也好变,did放在句子前,主语、动原、其它部分依次站。特殊疑问句也简单,疑问词加一般疑问句记心间。

最后一条请注意,动词过去式要牢记!

过去时的一般形态

1. Be 动词的一般过去时态.在没有实义动词的句子中使用be动词,am is 的过去式为was;are的过去式为were.构成:肯定句:主语+was(were)+表语 如:I was late yesterday.(昨天我迟到了。)

否定句:主语+was(were)+not+表语 如:We weren't late yesterday.(我们昨天没迟到)【注意】:当句中含有系动词was,were时,可直接在其后加not构成否定句。如:I was on the Internet when you called me.当你打电话给我时,我在上网。→ :I was not/wasn't on the Internet when you called me.当你打电话给我时,我不在上网。

疑问句:Was(Were)+主语+表语 如:Were you ill yesterday?(你昨天病了吗?)

肯定回答:Yes,I was.(是的,我病了。)否定句:No,I wasn't.(不,我没病。)

特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词+was(were)+主语+表语

如:When were you born? 你是什么时候出生的?

2. 实义动词的一般过去时态

肯定句要使用动词的过去式,否定句和疑问句要使用助动词do和 does 的过去式 did.肯定句为:主语+动词过去式+宾语 如:I went home at nine o'clock yesterday.(我昨天九点钟回的家。)否定句:主语+didn't +动词原形+宾语 如:I didn't go home yesterday.(我昨天没回家。)疑问句:Did +主语+动词原形+宾语 如:Did you go home yesterday?(你昨天回家了吗?)肯定回答:Yes,I did.(是的,我回了。)否定回答:No,I didn't.(不,我没回家。)

3. 助动词和情态动词过去式如下:

shall―should(将要)用于第一人称单数 will―would(将要)用于所有人称

can—could(能,会)may―might(可以)must―must(必须)have to―had to(不得不)

助动词和情态动词的过去时态要使用他们的过去式,后面的动词还使用原形。

小学牛津英语一般过去时的用法

一、概念

表示在的过去某个时间里所发生的动作或存在的状态。通常在句子里找到表示过去时间的词或词组。如:yesterday,yesterday morning,yesterday afternoon,yesterday evening,the day before yesterday(前天),last night,last week,last month,last year,a moment ago(刚才),just now(刚才),two days ago,a week ago,in 1990等。如: I went to bed at eleven last night.昨晚我11:00睡觉。

二、句子结构

1.在表示某个时间里存在的状态的句子,系动词用过式was,were构成。如:(1)I was at home yesterday.昨天我在家。

四、动词过去式的构成规律(一)规则动词的过去式

1.一般情况下,在动词原形后面加-ed;

(二)一般过去时的否定句

1.在表示过去存在的状态的句子中,相接在was, were的后面加上not。如:(1)He was in the park the day before yesterday.→He was not in the park the day before yesterday.(2)We were busy last week.→We were not busy last week.2.在表示过去的时间发生的动作的句子中,要在行为动词的前面加助动词didn’t.然后把过去式的行为动词改为动词原形。即:didn’t + 动词原形。如:(1)She played the violin last night.→She didn’t play the violin last night.(2)They swam in the lake yesterday.→They didn’t swim in the lake yesterday.(三)、一般过去式的特殊疑问句

一般过去时表示过去某个时间里发生的动作或状态;过去习惯性、经常性的动作、行为;过去主语所具备的能力和性格。

基本结构:

① 主语+谓语(动词过去式)+句子其他成分;

主语+was/were+形容词/名词/介词短语+过去时间; 否定形式 ①was/were+not;行为动词

在行为动词前加didn't,同时还原行为动词; 一般疑问句

①Did+主语+do+其他 ②Was/Were+主语+表语? 一般过去时,表示过去某个时间里发生的非持续性动作或存在的状态,也表示经常或反复发生的动作。用动词的过去式表示,常和表示过去的时间状语连用,例如:yesterday,last night,in+过去的年份,two days ago,before,the age of,the day before yesterday等。

一般过去时也表示过去经常或反复发生的动作,常和often,always等表示频率的时间状语连用。表示过去习惯性、经常性的动作、行为;过去主语所具备的能力和性

1.一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态,常和表示过去的时间状语连用。一般过去时也表示过去经常或反复发生的动作感谢。2.Be动词在一般过去时中的变化:

⑴am 和is在一般过去时中变为was。(was not=wasn’t)⑵are在一般过去时中变为were。(were not=weren’t)⑶带有was或were的句子,其否定、疑问的变化和is, am, are一样,即否定句在was或were后加not,一般疑问句把was或were调到句首。3.句中没有be动词的一般过去时的句子

否定句:didn’t +动词原形,如:Jim didn’t go home yesterday.一般疑问句:在句首加did,句子中的动词过去式变回原形。如:Did Jim go home yesterday? 特殊疑问句:

⑴疑问词+did+主语+动词原形?如: What did Jim do yesterday? ⑵疑问词当主语时:疑问词+动词过去式?如:Who went to home yesterday? 动词过去式变化规则:

1.一般在动词末尾加-ed,如:pull-pulled, cook-cooked 2.结尾是e加d,如:taste-tasted 3.末尾只有一个元音字母和一个辅音字母的重读闭音节,应双写末尾的辅音字母,再加-ed,如:stop-stopped 4.以“辅音字母+y”结尾的,变y为i,再加-ed,如:study-studied 5.不规则动词过去式:
