This year marks the 50th anniversary of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination and the launch of the International Decade for People of African Descent.In the past fifty years, there has been progress in the fight against racism and racial discrimination.We have seen the end of colonialism, the dismantling of apartheid and the rise of a global movement for equality.Yet, as history and current events attest, racial discrimination still presents a clear danger to people and communities in all regions.今年是《消除一切形式种族歧视国际公约》和非洲人后裔国际十年启动五十周年。五十年来，打击种族主义和种族歧视斗争取得了成果。我们亲眼目睹了殖民主义的消亡和种族隔离的崩溃，一场平等运动在全球兴起。但是，历史和当今事件都已证明，种族歧视仍然对各个区域的人民和社区构成明显的危险
