新目标英语七年级上学期教学总结
本学期我担任七年级三班的英语。回首这一学期的教学工作,感触颇多。
一、认识教材,了解学生
对于新教材,大家都是处在摸索探究的阶段;但是同时,我也看到了许多前辈教师丰富资深的经验。新教材是由人教出版的GO FOR IT,这套教材内容丰富,理念新颖,针对的是有一定英语基础的学生,同时该教材营造了一个倾向本土化语言的环境,很多内容对于国内学生理解起来有点难度。和以前的教材相比,GO FOR IT的起点比较高,单词的呈现比较多,而且难度剃度不明显,提倡“用到即学”。而作为学习该教材的本届学生来讲,他们当中大部分没有接触过英语,有的也就是小部分在暑假接触过英语,才初步入门。在这样的情况下,感觉上课难度比较大。
二、因材施教,掌握难度
我们常说,教学就是教与学,两者是相互联系,不可分割的,有教者就必然有学者。学生是被教的主体。因此,了解和分析学生情况,有针对地教对教学成功与否至关重要。最初接触教学的时候,我还不懂得了解学生对教学的重要性,只是专心研究书本,教材,想方设法令课堂生动,学生易接受。在经过几次新教材教研活动后,感觉受益非浅,于是开始学会根据学生的实际情况有意识的把教材的难度降低,比如听力在本套教材中难度比较大,我就把听力的形式进行适当的改良,让学生更容易听懂,不断提高学生的积极性。我想这大概就是教育学中所说的“备教法的同时要备学生”。
同时根据不同的班级的学生性格特点,我也采取了不同的策略。开展各种各样的小组活动,让他们讨论合作,鼓励他们积极发言。一个学期下来,总体来看,三个班的成绩基本上持平。
三、调动气氛,参与鼓励
在课堂教学开展过程中,我感觉学生一部分不愿意起来发言:一个是教材比较有难度,怕讲错;另外一个是学生胆子比较小。针对这样的情况下,我把教材难度降低,并采取表扬和鼓励的方式。
同时,老师每天都要有充足的精神,让学生感受到一种自然气氛。这样,授课就事半功倍。回看自己的授课,有时我并不能很好地做到这点。当学生在课堂上无心向学,违反纪律时,我的情绪就受到影响,并且把这带到教学中,让原本正常的讲课受到冲击,发挥不到应有的水平,以致影响教学效果。我以后必须努力克服,研究方法,采取有利方法解决当中困难。
四、加强巩固,分批对待
因为英语的特殊情况,学生在不断学习中,会出现好差分化现象,差生面扩大,会严重影响班内的学习风气。每次教授了新单词以后,我都及时抽时间给他们听写,并认真批改。有时候,课文里出现的精彩实用的句子,我也要求学生背下来,我把5个同学分成一个小组,让成绩相对比较好同学担任小组长,这样想偷懒就比较难了。对于听写背书不理想的学生,我一般会在课后把他们留下来重新听写。或者是根据实际掌握情况,重新教授单词。直到合格为止。
而对不同基础的学生,我给他们的底线也不一样。一开始我都是统一要求所有的学生,后来我感觉这样不符合实际。有些学生对语言的感知能力本身就比较差,越是统一要求,他就开始抵制,其实到最后什么也没有学到。因此,我就把学生分开,一般的,大部分同学的要求是统一的,而小部分接受能力比较差的同学,我就用相对低一点的标准给他们,这样做以后,逐渐提高标准,学生学到的明显多了。在课堂教学之余,我还积极参加教研活动,参与我们英语组内的备课和说课,并且上公开课。通过这样的活动,有效的提高了自己对教材的理解。
在这一个学期的工作中,感觉自己尚存在很多的缺点:对教材的把握不够,上课的逻辑性不够强,课堂的衔接还不够自然流畅等等。很多优秀的老师的优点都没有学到,听课的次数也还不够多,尤其是跟其他老师的交流还太少,希望在下个学期能多向其他老师前辈学习,不断提高教学水平。

《新目标英语》八年级(下册),全书共有十个单元,另两个复习单元。本教材各单元话题灵活,贴近生活实际。本册书将学习的一些语法知识点有:一般将来时、过去进行时、现在完成时、间接引语、时间状语从句、条件状语从句、反意疑问句等。同时每个单元后都提供了一篇阅读文章,用以训练学生的阅读能力,扩大学生的阅读量。
四、学情简要分析
初二年级共有三个教学班,共有学生人数人,其中男生人,女生人。通过初一年半的英语学习,大多数学生已能听懂有关熟悉话题的语段和简短的故事。能与教师或同学就熟悉的话题交换信息。能读懂短篇故事,能写便条和简单的书信。但由于各种因素的影响,学生发展参差不齐。有少数学生因为基础不够好,学习很吃力而自暴自弃,有的因此扰乱课堂次序,这给教学带来不少困难。
